</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Richard Frier Jr. 69, of Junction passed away at 12:34 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Ridgway Manor Nursing Home, stemming from an accident that occurred on Sept. 11, 2010.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1941, in Shawneetown, the son of Richard Sr. and Dollie (Arnold) Frier. Richard married Karen Dillard on Nov. 3, 1962.

He was the owner and operator of Frier Trucking and Construction Company. He was also a member of the Ohio Valley General Baptist Church in Shawneetown. Richard enjoyed life and visiting neighbors and friends on his golf cart. He touched many lives by his faith in God.

Richard is survived by his wife, Karen Frier of Junction; one daughter, Kimberly Bickett of Shawneetown; one sister, Virginia Case, also of Shawneetown; three grandchildren, Jerad and Tiffany Bickett of Ridgway, Alesha and Josh Allen of Harrisburg and Evan Bickett of Shawneetown; three great-grandchildren, Parker Clarida, Luke Allen and Tate Bickett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Doris Ann Kilmer.

Visitation for Richard will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Gunter officiating. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
