David M. Pavelonis

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[David M. Pavelonis, 65, of Simi Valley, Calif., died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, following a sudden illness. Mr. Pavelonis was born July 18, 1945, in Harrisburg.

Mr. Pavelonis was an artist, sculptor and designer.

He is survived by his mother, Olive Kibler Pavelonis of Harrisburg; daughter, Sloane and husband Gary Fabricius and grandchildren Drew and Danny Fabricius of Newbury Park, Calif.; daughter, Amy and husband Kevin Meyer and grandchildren Jack, Ian and Lauren Meyer of Columbia, Mo.; brother, Brad Pavelonis and wife Marietta and nephew John of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Pavelonis, of Harrisburg, in 1995.

Memorial donations received will establish an art scholarship at Southeastern Illinois College in memory of David Pavelonis. Mailing address: Southeastern Illinois College, 3575 College Road, Harrisburg, Ill. 62946.

Visitation will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, with a memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Burial will take place at Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
