Helen Lucille Roberts

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Helen Lucille Roberts, 90, Harrisburg, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

She was born on July 27, 1920, in Saline County to the late Frankie and Rachel (Beal) Guess. On Aug. 13, 1939, she married the Rev. Charles Kenneth Roberts, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1986.

She was a member of North Williford Baptist Church.

Surviving family members include a daughter, Sue and husband Max Kendall of Harrisburg; son, Kenneth Lee and wife Ann Roberts of Harrisburg; sister, Hazel and husband Cecil Roberts of Kokomo, Ind.; three grandchildren, Jeffery Roberts, Monti and husband Tim Taylor and Marci and husband Patrick Byrd; seven great-grandchildren, Amanda and husband Shane Stovall, Aaron and wife Chasity Horton, Dylan Byrd and Devyn Byrd, Fleshia Taylor, Richard Roberts and Brooklynn Roberts; and two great-great-grandchildren, Briley and Kiley Stovall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Frank and his wife Carolyn Roberts; two sisters, Doris Jean Wilson and Tootsie Guess in infancy; and three grandsons, Christopher and David Roberts and Stephen Roberts.

Graveside services will precede burial at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Sunset Garden Cemetery. The Rev. Keith Ital will officiate.
