Patricia Altshuler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Patricia Altshuler, 70, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Freehold Township, N.J., died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010.

A daughter of the late Evelyn and Ralph Watson, she was born and raised in Eldorado and graduated from Missouri Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, St. Louis, Mo. She lived briefly in Fair Lawn and Neptune, N.J., while her husband completed his medical training and moved to Freehold Township, N.J., in 1971. She was the practice administrator for her husband's OB-GYN practice. Active in many local organizations, Pat was a founding member of the Doctors' Wives Auxiliary of Freehold Area Hospital and a member of Temple Shaari Emeth. She was a 21-year survivor of breast cancer and participated annually in the Komen Walk for the Cure.

Pat was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Ronald, St. Louis, Mo., and Arthur R., Eldorado.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Dr. William Altshuler; her devoted children, a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Joseph Eggler, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Amy Altshuler, Phoenix, Ariz.; three adored grandchildren, Joshua and Zachery Eggler, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Leila Altshuler, Phoenix, Ariz. Also surviving are Jerry Watson, Eldorado; Judy Su, El Paso, Texas; and John Robert Watson, Eldorado; a sister-in-law, Linda Watson, St. Louis, Mo.; and a sister.

Services were held at Temple Chai, Scottsdale, Ariz., on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010.
