Mary Ella Bohne

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary Ella Bohne, 83, formerly of Elgin and Carrier Mills, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, in the Josephine Sunset Care Facility in Stanwood, Wash.

Mary was born on Sept. 27, 1927, in Stonefort to the late William and Lillie (Reynolds) Deaton. She was married to Lyle F. Bohne on Feb. 9, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2001.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol (David) Slocum of Camano Island, Wash.; four sons, Bruce (Brenda) Bohne of South Elgin, Kim (Judy) Bohne of New Lenox, Craig (Rosemary) Bohne of Elgin and Scott (Pam) Bohne of Creal Springs; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Roma) Deaton of Ozark; two sisters, Janie Wienke of Carrier Mills and Lula (Gale) Sibigtroth of Sheridan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Helen Graves; and four brothers, Loren Lavern, Noel, Vernell and Gene Deaton.

Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Gary Graves will officiate. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Creal Springs. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
