Edna M. Baldwin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Edna M. Baldwin, 83, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.

Edna was born in the Pond Settlement community on March 20, 1927, to the late Henry and Sarah (Murphy) Doerr. In 1947, she married George Baldwin, who preceded her in death in 2004.

Edna was a member of the Shawneetown First Baptist Church. Edna loved to be with her family and really enjoyed cooking. She was a good wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Edna is survived by two sons, Louie Baldwin of Shawneetown and David Baldwin of Norris City; two daughters, Janet Martin of Junction and Pat Baldwin of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; along with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation for Edna will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Funeral service for Edna will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown with the Rev. Jack Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
