Joanne M. Schneider

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Joanne M. Schneider, 65, of Harrisburg, died Sunday evening, Oct. 3, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

She was born on Aug. 6, 1945, in Rhode Island, the daughter of William A. and Fannie Edna (Smith) Schneider.

She is survived by her foster daughter, Shelly Schneider; three brothers, William A. Schneider of Tampa, Fla., Jerry A. Schneider of Brunswick, Md. and Jim A. Schneider of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Jane Dosenbach of Harrisburg and Robin and Ryder Hawkins of Waterford, Mich.; several nieces and nephews, especially Ashley Yowell of Strasburg, Va. and Ronald Dosenbach of Houston, Texas; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Schneider was an occupational therapist and had worked with special-needs children in Texas and Florida. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
