</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[George A. Pitts, 49, Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of McLeansboro and Eldorado, died 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at his residence.

Per his request, the body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the charge of Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro.

He is survived by two brothers and a sister.
