Norma L. Ewell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Norma L. Ewell, 77, of Pekin, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Pekin Hospital.

She was born April 5, 1933, in Harrisburg to Cressie and Ida (Pyles) Ewell. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are one brother, John Ewell of Harrisburg; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Norma provided childcare in her home for over 20 years. She enjoyed caring for her pets, quilting and gardening.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
