</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Genelle Faye Foster, 80, Springfield, died 7:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2010, at St. John's Hospice, Springfield.
Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at Staab Funeral Home in Springfield. Graveside services will immediately follow at Chatham Cemetery in Chatham with the Rev. Steve Oberg officiating.
She was born Nov. 9, 1929, in Gays to Harry and Cora (Delp) Rankin.
She was Lutheran by faith and attended high school in Charleston. She was retired from Project Life Senior Services. She really enjoyed listening to and attending country music concerts of her favorite artists.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Jeff) Bentley of Harrisburg and Terry Gaddis of Dawson; a son, John Foster of Springfield; a grandson, Mike (Danielle) Gribble of Harrisburg; a great-granddaughter, Brittany Morse of Harrisburg; and a brother, Duane (Ruth) Rankin of Glen Carbon.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dean and George Rankin; and a grandson, Josh Gribble.
