Glen A. Burroughs

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Glen A. Burroughs, 65, 608 Basinger St., Eldorado, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at his residence.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with military rites. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at the funeral home with Masonic rites at 7:30 p.m.

He was born in Junction on July 25, 1945, to Mabel Burroughs. He was married to Alice Burroughs from Jan. 1, 1968 until her death on Nov. 1, 2007.

He was an Army veteran and a barber, starting in Eldorado in 1970, and owned Glen&#39;s Barber Shop in Eldorado for over 20 years. He was a member of the Eldorado VFW and American Legion and Eldorado Masonic Lodge No. 730 A.F. and A.M.

He is survived by a son, Shane (Heather) Burroughs of Eldorado; a brother, Mike (GiGi) Spear of Junction; and a niece, Robin Richardson of Shawneetown.
