"It was a nice win for us, and not a particularly easy course to play on," said EHS coach Donnie Cox. "There are some rough greens there, and that's an area of play we're still needing to shore up anyway, but I was encouraged by the way we played."
Leading the way for EHS was Ashton Unthank, who was match medalist as well, with a 49.
Charly Lowery added a 56, as did Megan Patterson, in her debut match. Rounding out qualifying for Eldorado was Sam Mings, with a 62.
Haley Kurtek also competed for EHS, shooting a 67.
Eldorado will have a long layoff and a familiar setting when they resume. Their next match is scheduled for September 13, when they return to West Frankfort for a rematch.
