</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dennis Deneen Smith, 49, Old Shawneetown, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Evansville, Ind.

As according to his wishes, he was cremated. There will be no public services. Arrangements are in the charge of Cox and Son Funeral Home, Shawneetown.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons; one daughter; three sisters; and six grandchildren.
