</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Madge York, 88, Evansville, Ind., formerly of McLeansboro, died 4:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at Protestant Nursing Home, Evansville, Ind.

Mrs. York will be cremated as per her personal request. Private burial of ashes will take place at a later date. There will be no funeral services or visitation. Arrangements are in the charge of Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro.

She is survived by her husband, Jim York; two sons; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
