Lucille Telban Tuttle

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lucille Telban Tuttle, 89, formerly of Carrier Mills, died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2010, in the Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado, surrounded by her family.

Lucille was born on March 7, 1921, in Drakesboro, Ky., to the late Charles and Maude Sherfield Telban. She was married to Howard M. Tuttle, who preceded her in death. She was employed as a "Rosie the Riveter" in Ypsilanti, Mich., during World War II and made a home for her family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carrier Mills, where she was an active member until having to enter the nursing home.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Queener of Canton, Mich. and Connie (Lewis) Boatright of Harrisburg; two sons, Roger (Fran) Tuttle of Harco and Harold (Olha) Tuttle of Des Plaines; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ethel Thompson of Ridgway and Tilley Serles of Valparaiso, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one son, John Tuttle.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church in Carrier Mills with the pastor The Rev. Stan Irvin officiating. Friends may call at the church after 9 a.m. on Monday. Burial will be in North America Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials in her memory to the First United Methodist Church in Carrier Mills. Envelopes will be available at the church.
