Dorothy Mae (Kunath) Gericke

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy Mae (Kunath) Gericke, born June 4, 1918 in Evansville, Ind., returned home on July 17, 2010, at Cottonwood, Ariz.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ernest Franklin Gericke, four children, Lillian Wyona Gill (Aaron), Ernest Franklin Jr. (Nancy), Jonathan David (Carol), Mary Ruth Anne Akers (Joseph), 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Harrisburg High in 1935 and Southern Illinois University- Carbondale in 1939. She worked at Alameda Naval Air Station during World War II where she met her Marine husband. They moved to Illinois after the war, then to Arizona in 1958. She loved God and her family, and enjoyed 14 years of "RV"ing in her retirement.
