Steven Lynn Dees

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Steven Lynn Dees, 48, Eldorado, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado.

Steve was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., on Feb. 18, 1962, to Paul Dees and Margaret LaRue. He was a carpenter and a construction worker by trade. He loved to ride bulls and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the Illinois and Missouri Trappers Association.

Steve is survived by his mother, Margaret LaRue of Eldorado; and his father, Paul Dees of Dexter, Mo. Also surviving are his brother, Ken (Donna) Dees of Eldorado; a half-brother, Brad (Samantha) Dees of Dexter, Mo.; a stepbrother, Corey Dees of Dexter, Mo.; and a special nephew, Jamie Dakota Dees. Steve is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services for Steve will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado with the Rev. L.D. Jolly officiating and burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at Watson Funeral Home, Eldorado.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the family.
