</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marjorie Hannel, 88, Franklin, N.C., formerly of McLeansboro, died at 5:05 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at Memorial Campus Hospital, Asheville, N.C.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, at First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro with the Rev. Bill Reed and the Rev. Tracy Burnett officiating. Burial will in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro.

She was the widow of Paul Harold Hannel. She is survived by a daughter, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.
