Kathleen (Ridley) Morris

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kathleen (Ridley) Morris, 85, Carrier Mills, passed away at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at her residence.

Kathleen was born on Thursday, Oct. 30, 1924, to the late Henry and Julia (Prather) Ridley in Ledford. She was a WAC in the U.S. Army during World War II, a retired electronic technician with Ameritech and a member of the Ledford Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Aline (Gene) Reinhardt of Waterford, Mich.; nine nieces, Roberta Drinkard, Linda Biggs, Ramona Walker, Judy Maxfield, Beverly Ewell, Marsha Brown, Cheryl Zylstra, Sue Ellen Thorpe and Lora Jo Harris; four nephews, Carroll Ridley, Ronnie Harris, Greg Ridley and Brian Reinhardt; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Kathleen will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Ledford Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Reed Funeral Chapel. The family requests no flowers; donations may be made to the Ledford Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
