Matthew Gene Howard

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Matthew Gene Howard, 29, of Raleigh, passed away at 2:43 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

He was the husband of RaDonna (Prather) Howard, who survives. They were married June 27, 2009.

Matthew was born in Harrisburg on Jan. 27, 1981, the son of the late Dennis and Carolyn (Price) Howard, who survives of Harrisburg.

He worked as an equipment operator for Morris Excavation.

In addition to his wife and mother, Matthew is survived by a daughter, RaCquel Prather of Raleigh; three sisters, Billie (Kyle) McGhee of Harrisburg, April Woodruff of Harrisburg and Jessica Howard of Harrisburg; and a brother, Jacob Howard of Carrier Mills.

Funeral services are at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
