Danny Doughty

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Danny Doughty, 76, 3595 Tuller Road, Stonefort, died 5 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at home surrounded by his family.

Services will be held at noon Monday, July 5, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Barry Steed officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.

He was born on Feb. 4, 1934, in Ozark to the late Ernest and Emma (Boyer) Doughty. He married the former Carlene Winters, who survives.

He worked as a mechanic and machinist. He was an Army veteran and attended Little Chapel Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carlene Doughty; two daughters, Donna (Allen) Jackson of Stonefort and Denise (John) Abell of Harrisburg; four grandsons, John (Lindsay) Abell of Eldorado, Josh Abell of Harrisburg, Eli Jackson of Stonefort and Jordan Jackson of Stonefort.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Florabel Cook.
