Kathryn Jane Aud

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kathryn Jane Aud, 95, of Equality, also known as Grandma Katie, passed away at Fountain View Nursing Home at 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.

She was born on Dec. 25, 1914, in Harrisburg to William J. and Kathryn Jane (Gwinn) Sloan. Kathryn was a stenographer for the State of Illinois Unemployment Office in Harrisburg for 35 years. She also was a member of First Christian Church in Harrisburg.

Kathryn is survived by two daughters, Sue and Don Nave of Equality and Jane Chester of Reidland, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; three husbands; infant daughter, Marilyn Kay Hughes; one brother, William J. Sloan Jr.; and two sisters, LaVern Adams and Sybil Kinser.

Visitation for Kathryn will be held from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. The Rev. David Smith and the Rev.
