Helen M. Sneed-Orndorff-Forsythe

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Helen M. Sneed-Orndorff-Forsythe, 85, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Green County Hospital in Linton, Ind.

She was born Aug. 14, 1925, the daughter of Raymond and Margret (Holland) Harrelson. She was a long time resident of Harrisburg and was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church for several years.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, George Parnell Sneed Jr., William H. Orndorff and Raymond Forsythe; also parents, Harry H. and Margret Harrelson-Leyerle and Raymond and Helen Dare-Harrelson; brother, Donald L. Harrelson; nephew, Michal L. Harrelson; and great-granddaughter, Dawnette Marie Shipley.

Surviving are her daughter, Georgia M. Sneed-Bruce of Harrisburg; son, David Christopher "Chris" Orndorff and wife Linda of Galatia. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Robert D. Shipley and wife Kathy of Bloomfield, Ind., Barbara Kaye Shipley of Bloomington, Ind., Melissa Dawn Oliver-Hall of Newberry, Ind., Kevin Wayne Shipley and wife Shanna of Bloomfield, Ind., and Melinda Orndorff of Scotland, Ind.; seven great-grandchildren, Justin Shipley, Zachery Oliver, Nicholas Rintschler, Hannah Elizabeth Hall, Charles, Haily and Ailish Shipley; and one great-great-grandson, Rhys Antony Rintschler.

A private family gathering is planned at the gravesite.
