Penelope Jane Vessel
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Penelope Jane Vessel, 66, of Harrisburg, passed away at 12:52 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
She was the wife of James Vessel, who survives.
Penelope was born in Wasson on May 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Thomas Crow and Lillian (Johnson) Ingram.
In addition to her husband, Penelope is survived by two daughters, Amber (Lamar Woodard) Floyd of Champaign and Christina Vessel of Marion; three sons, Victor (Julie) Vessel of Valier, Kirk (Natalie) Vessel of Bowling Green, Ky. and Chris (Annjannette) Vessel of Eldorado; several grandchildren, Michael Floyd, Taylor Vessel, Dakota Vessel, Cassandra Vessel, Trey Vessel, Owen Vessel, Laci Vessel and Bayler Vessel; two sisters, Margie Ridley of Eldorado and Virginia (Guy) Yates of Florida; and a brother, Ralph (Lou Eva) Ingram of Ridgway.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ann Allen, Pauline Beal and Lucille Kelly; and a brother, Tommy Ingram.
Funeral services were held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, at 11 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, with the Rev. Art Watson officiating. Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home. Burial was in Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado.
