Pamela J. Prather
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Pamela J. Prather, 62, Harrisburg, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, at her residence in Harrisburg.
She was born on Jan. 25, 1948, in Paducah, Ky., to the late Vernon J. May and Francis J. (Dedrick) Nicholson. On July 15, 1966, she married Mike Prather and he survives.
Pamela retired from G.T.E., where she worked in the warehouse. She was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owner's Group).
Surviving family members include her husband, Mike Prather of Harrisburg; son, Eric Prather of Harrisburg; and mother-in-law, Thelma Prather of Harrisburg.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Condolences may be sent to the family through the obituary page of the Internet site www.reedfuneralchapel.com.
