John E. Cain

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[John E. Cain, 74, of Harrisburg, passed away 9 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg.

John was born in Raleigh, the son of Lewis Cain and Ruth Burton Cain Evans.

John spent several years in Garden City, Mich., before moving to Harrisburg in 1975. He was a member of Harrisburg Lodge No. 386 I.O.O.F.

He is survived by his brother Jack and wife Pat Cain of Raleigh; one niece, Karen and Mike Weirauch of Harrisburg; and two nephews, David and Pat Cain of Canton, Mich., and Jeff and Jennifer Cain of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepfather, Ted Evans.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Webb officiating and burial at Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
