Mary Lee Keown
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary Lee Keown, 79, of Galatia, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at her residence.
She was born on Sept. 28, 1930, in Supply, Ark., to Charles and Leola (Stevens) Farris. Mary married Wesley A. Keown in 1968 in Collinsville.
She worked at the Irvin's Restaurant in Galatia for several years.
Mary is survived by her husband Wesley, six children, Fredrick Marvin McDonough, Harold William McDonough, Carol Ann Hickman, Randall Lee McDonough, Susan Renee McVay and Wesley R. Keown; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five sisters; and two brothers.
She was preceded by her parents; two sons; one daughter; and one brother.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, at the funeral home. Gayland Stewart will be officiating with burial in the Webber Campground Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
