Imogene Edmonds

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Imogene Edmonds, 83, longtime resident of Shawneetown, died Monday, May 17, 2010, in the Fountainview Nursing Home.

Imogene was born on July 14, 1926, to the late Everett and Sudie (Brock) Dozier in Grays, Ky. She was married to Louie Edmonds, who preceded her in death in 1975.

Imogene worked for many years at The Fox Bar and Grill in Shawneetown. She loved to garden and was always happy when talking with her family and friends. She was a good mother, wife, grandmother and sister and will be missed.

Imogene is survived by two sons, Louie Edmonds of Galatia and Kenneth (companion Nena Fox) of Clinton Township, Mich.; a daughter, Anna Nicikowski of Detroit, Mich.; three brothers, Benny (Joyce) Dozier of Shawneetown, Jim (Herda) Dozier of Ratcliff, Ky., and Pat Dozier of Florida; four sisters, Phyllis Robbins of Shawneetown, Margie (Tom) Findley of Covington, Ky., Sharon Robbins of Toledo and Bobbi (Charlie) Moore of Shawneetown; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Dozier.

Visitation for Imogene will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Graveside services will preceed burial at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.
