Opal K. 'Penny' Castle

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Opal K. "Penny" Castle, 92, of Eldorado, passed away at 10:26 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Finnie Good Shepherd Nursing Home.

She was the widow of Don B. Castle, who preceded her in death.

Penny was born in Ridgway on April 26, 1917, the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Dixon) Dillard.

She was Baptist by faith and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Dillard of Eldorado; three nephews, Gary (Sue) Dillard, Keith (Stephanie) Dillard and Greg (Renee) Dillard; one niece, Sherri Hirst of Eldorado; and several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert and Eugene; a sister, Helen Eva Vickery; and two nephews, Doug Dillard and Greg Hirst.

Private graveside services will be held. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery in Ridgway.
