Grace Brown

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Grace Brown, Sherman, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 5:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010.

Grace was born on Feb. 28, 1918, to the late Samuel Kirkland and Myrtle (Owen) Bond. On Sept. 23, 1939, she married Rob Roy Brown and he preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2006.

Grace was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Harrisburg. At the beginning of the war, she worked as a bookkeeper for the Army at Spartanburg, S.C.

Grace is survived by one son, Kirk Brown and wife Bobbie of Sherman.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Fern Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Judith Beyler will officiate; burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
