</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Barbara L. Wasson, 79, Harrisburg, passed away 4 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Rosiclare Healthcare. She was born Feb. 17, 1931, at Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Clyde and Ruby Pauline Kent Wasson. Barbara was a certified lab technician and worked in medical records for various nursing homes in Southern Illinois.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Pauline Wasson; one sister, Mary; and three infant siblings.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
