She was the beloved wife of the late Lester (1996) for 49 cherished years; loving mother of Jennifer (Ronald) Barello, Janet (Roger) Feldbusch, John (Sonya) Joseph, Julia (Stephen) Opipari and her deceased infant son, Darrell; proud grandmother of Michelle (Gene) Joslyn, Jeremy (Carrie) Feldbusch, Anthony Barello, Amanda Barello, Jason Bryan, Rebecca Bryan and Ellyce Opipari; and great-grandmother of Grant Joslyn and Cameron Feldbusch; dear sister of Bob (Reba) Proffitt and beloved sister-in-law of Wanda Roark.

She was predeceased by seven adored siblings; and her parents John and Ellen Proffitt.

She is also survived by her close and dear friend, Marion Campbell. Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010. Funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Wujek-Calcaterra and Sons Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Road), Sterling Heights, Mich. Interment will be in Utica Cemetery.
