William E. 'Willie' Craig
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[William E. "Willie" Craig, 81, 400 McKinley St., Stonefort, died 5:30 a.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Keith Bunfill, the Rev. Gary Graves and the Rev. Jeff Baker officiating. Burial will be in Bolton-Trammell Cemetery, Stonefort. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born on Jan. 20, 1929, in Stonefort to the late U.B. and Nellie (Simmons) Craig. He married the former Winnie Harrawood on April 17, 1951, who survives.
He was a retired coal miner, an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and the Stonefort American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Winnie Craig of Stonefort; son, Butch (Kathy) Craig of Stonefort; daughter, Jacquie Craig of Marion; grandchildren, Ryan Craig of Peoria and Teneka (Jody) Betz of Stonefort; great-grandchildren, Blain and Breezy Betz of Stonefort; two brothers, Tom (Loretta) Craig and Phillip (Maryann) Craig of Carrier Mills; three brothers-in-law, Bob Taylor of Stonefort, Bill Harrawood and Dennis Cable, both of Evansville, Ind.; three sisters-in-law, Bobbie Harrawood of Broken Arrow, Okla., Ren Hester of Evansville, Ind. and Lenora Craig of Gastonia, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Coy Craig and Charles Craig; a sister, Kay Taylor; three brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Floyd and John Harrawood; three sisters-in-law, Wanda Wallace, Eileen Cable and Ruth Rickman.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
