Beatrice 'Bea' Seets
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Beatrice "Bea" Seets of Prescott, Ariz. passed away at Pinon Oaks Manor on Monday, April 12, 2010.
Bea was born on Sept. 2, 1923, in Saline County, to Clyde and Ora (Tanner) Fife. She graduated from Harrisburg Township High School in Harrisburg in 1940.
During World War II she worked for Selective Service System (draft board) in Harrisburg. She moved to Prescott, Ariz. with her husband and two sons in December 1957. From 1961 to 1987 she worked at the VA Medical Center in various clerical jobs. A few years after retirement she worked part-time for 10 years doing medical transcription for Dr. Sandeen.
Her husband, James Randall Seets, preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1962; and brother, Clyde Fife in November 2007.
Survivors include sons, Ronnie (Kathy) and Terry (Tannis); granddaughters, Amy (Chriss) Moore and Heather Seets; grandsons, J.W. Seets, Nate (Crystal) Seets and Cody Seets; great-grandsons, Tye and Wyatt Seets and Kayden Seets-Much; great-granddaughters, Kira Seets and Emma Seets. She also leaves one niece, Susan (Scott) Danielson; son, Brendan; and daughter, Kendall of Muskego, Wis.; as well as many good friends throughout the Prescott area.
The family would like to express appreciation and gratitude to Mia and all the staff at Pinon Oaks Manor for all the love and compassion shown to our mother. You went above and beyond anything we expect; also to Anna Van Hoose and Niki for their care and transportation over many months; to Dr. Reid, Nurse Teresa Bradley, Katie Osburn, Leigh and Anne and everyone at Good Samaritan Hospice, thank you for your love and support during this difficult time. Thanks to Dr. Sandeen and Nurse Suzie and to Dr. Berry and Nurse Donna, not only for her care, but for being her friend.
A service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Calvary Chapel. A committal service will be at 1 p.m., also on Thursday, April 15, at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bea's name to the American Cancer Society, 2724 E. Lakin, Suite 9, Flagstaff, Ariz. 86004 or to Good Samaritan Hospice, 1065 Ruth St., Prescott, Ariz. 86301.
