Patricia J. Gleyre

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Patricia J. Gleyre, 74, Pontiac, Mich., formerly of Carrier Mills, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, in Pontiac. She was born in Carrier Mills, the daughter of the late Carl and Violet Bailey Rice.

She was the beloved wife of the late James Gleyre; loving mother of Rick (Cheri) Gleyre of Davisburg, Tina (Brian) Miller of Waterford and the late Dickie Gleyre.; loving grandmother of Tony (Nicole) Miller, Steve (Melissa) Miller, Robert Gleyre and Danielle Gleyre; and great-grandmother of Ace and Zoey Miller.

She is also survived by her brother, Loy Rice; special friend, Bettye Stuckey Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was known as "Granny" to family and as the "Avon Queen" to her friends, as she sold Avon for over 40 years.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with burial to follow in the Salem Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Fund with envelopes available at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home.
