Lois (Tefertiller) Dial

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lois (Tefertiller) Dial, 87, of Eldorado and Zeigler, passed away Saturday, April 03, 2010 at her home.

Lois was born July 4, 1922, in Royalton to Jesse and Maisie (Randolph) Tefertiller.

She married Foster F. Dial on Sept. 1, 1940, in Jackson, Mo. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1985.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William "Bill" and Kathy Dial of Eldorado; a granddaughter and her husband, Stephanie and Mark Knight of Norris City; a grandson and his wife, Christopher and Mandi Dial of Eldorado; twin great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Hayden Knight of Norris City; a brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Bonnie Tefertiller of Royalton and a special friend and care giver, Elaine Stallings of Eldorado.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Betty Orlandini, Vida Ruth Pohl, Phyllis Markey, an infant, Ruby Tefertiller; and three brothers, Edward, Charles and Rudy Tefertiller.

Lois was of the Protestant faith. She retired from Allen Industries in Herrin. She was a member of the Zeigler Eagles Lodge and a 50-year American Legion Patrick McClellan Post No. 177 Auxiliaries.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dial will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Vantrease Funeral Home in Zeigler with Bro. Don Wright officiating. Burial will be at Miners Cemetery, west of Zeigler. Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vantrease Funeral Home until the hour of the services at 2 p.m.
