Larry W. Goff

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Larry W. Goff, 75, 2508 First St., Eldorado, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and friends at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010.

Services will be held at noon Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Tate's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 29, 1934, in Flat Rock to Lewey and Hattie (Frazier) Goff. On July 13, 1962, he married Nettie Ann Gholson, who survives in Eldorado.

He was an agent for Petroleum Distributors. He was a member of the Harrisburg Hunters Club and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed trap shooting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John Justin Goff of Eldorado; two daughters, Beth Ann Goff of Eldorado and Brenda (J.B.) Strange of Oblong; a brother, David Goff of Brownsville, Texas; and two grandchildren, Brittney and Jay Strange of Oblong.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Tate's Chapel Cemetery Fund.
