</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[George Funderok, 81, Delphi, Ind., died 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Central, Lafayette, Ind.
Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Delphi, Ind., with Father Peter Vanderkolk officiating. Visitation was 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi with the service at 7 p.m.
He was born March 15, 1929, in Bankston to the late John and Julia (Bolesky) Funderok.
He was a 1945 graduate of Harrisburg Township High School. He worked 28 years at Louisville Cement Company, retiring in 1991. He formerly worked at Delphi Body Works. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi, a former member of the Delphi Masonic Lodge No. 48 and an endowed member of Camden Mt. Zion Lodge No. 211. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, traveling, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his nephew, Michael "Tony" Funderok.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Jr. and Mike Funderok; and a sister, Mary Hart.
