Ollie Mae Henning Dorsey

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ollie Mae Henning Dorsey went to be with the Lord at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010, at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg. She was the last child born to Flenor and Robert W. Henning. She attended Harrisburg Township High School.

Ollie accepted Christ as her savior and was a lifelong member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Harrisburg. She was a cheerful and exciting young woman who enjoyed her many grandchildren, family and friends. Ollie worked as a cook at the Golden Circle Senior Center in Harrisburg for a time and was employed as a factory worker in Flint, Mich.

Ollie leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Rajah (Amanda) Peacock and Remus Henning, both of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Khadijah Henning, Easter Neal, Kyleigh Peacock, Jaquasha Henning, Malayia Peacock, Aalayia Peacock, Aires Crawford, Reminice Henning and Rajah Peacock Jr.; two sisters, Parasetta Adeniji Saladin of Marion and Toni Flynn Henning of Flint, Mich.; six nieces, Vivian (James) Bailey of Springfield, Va., Penelope (Chris) White, Konnie West, Kamonya West, Helena Henning and Kamesha Muggins, all of Flint, Mich.; three nephews, Robert B. Henning of Chicago, Doug L. Henning and Rainey (Dean) Johnson of Flint, Mich.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ollie was preceded in death by her parents; two spouses, Robert Walker and Harold Dorsey; one brother, Robert Lane Henning; and three sisters, Vivian (Willie) White, Coneaous "Connie" Henning and Helen Harden; grandparents; and niece, Mary Napier.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 7 E. Gaskins St., Harrisburg. Eulogy will be given by the Rev. Lewis Robinson and services performed by the Rev. Rainell Cannon. Memorials in memory of Ms. Dorsey will be accepted at the service in care of Felty Funeral Home.
