</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jane Carney Strong, 91, McLeansboro, formerly of Shawneetown, died 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro.

Mrs. Strong was cremated as per her request. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2010, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shawneetown with Father Mark Stec officiating. Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery, Shawneetown. Memorial visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro.
