Charles Albert Goodley

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Charles Albert Goodley, 78, of Eldorado, passed away at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Fountainview Nursing Home.

He was the husband of Margaret Ann (Jackson) Goodley, who survives.

Charles was born in Eldorado on Dec. 18, 1931, the son of the late Albert and Abigail (Evans) Goodley.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eldorado Masonic Lodge and served in the Air Force as a sergeant during the Korean War.

He worked as a flight engineer and retired from the Air Force.

Charles is survived by a daughter, Roxanne (Jeff) Hart of Denver, Colo; a son, Scott (Daphne) Goodley of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Norma (Phil) Naas of Michigan and Mary Alice Thorn of Eldorado; a brother, Bernie (Dianne) Goodley of Eldorado; three grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Mae Goodley; and a great-granddaughter, Nataley.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Eldorado with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial Will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with military rites. Visitation hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.

In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Eldorado. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
