Catherine Crunk

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Catherine Crunk, 81, 273 W. McClernand Ave., Shawneetown, passed away at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Ridgway Manor Nursing Home in Ridgway.

She was born in Shawneetown on April 25, 1928, to Herman Richard and Sarah Agnes (Rider) Gentry. Catherine married William Daniel Crunk on Nov. 25, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 2002.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Lorrine Woods of Godfrey.

Visitation for Catherine will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, with prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shawneetown with Father Mark Stec officiating. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
