Alma Lucille Christie
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Alma Lucille Christie, 82, 801 S. Second St., Eldorado, passed away at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at her home.
Alma was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Hammond, Ind., to the late Clell and Edith (Hall) Christie. The family moved to Eldorado in the late 1930s and became members of Eldorado Gospel Assembly Church.
Alma was very outgoing and made friends easily. She was dearly loved by all who knew her. Alma is survived by a niece, Pam (Randy) Rosenwinkel of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two nephews, Steven Christie and Kevin (Joann) Christie of Bartlette, Tenn.; and a special cousin, Zola Cochran of Eldorado. Also surviving are four aunts, Vivian Hall, Ruby Hall, Laverne Sertick and Dora Mae Scheid; and two uncles, Clifford Hall and David Hall.
Alma was preceded in death by her father, Clell Christie; her mother, Edith (Hall) Christie; a brother, Clell Christie; and seven uncles, the Rev. Lester Hall, Ralph Hall, Amos Hall, Paul Hall, James Hall, Floyd Hall and Phillip Hall.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. L.D. Jolly officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Lindale Cemetery.
