Lyman K. Lovellette
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Lyman K. Lovellette, 67, of Eldorado, passed away at 7:07 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at his residence.
In 1962 he married the former Brenda Joyce Genet, who preceded him in death.
Lyman was born in Eldorado on July 14, 1942, the son of the late Hicen S. and Mildred (Owens) Lovellette.
He worked as a certified welder at Babcock and Wilcox prior to retirement.
Lyman enjoyed gardening and his hobby eventually became the business of Lovellette Produce, and has remained for 30 years and will continue under the direction of his daughter, Pam.
Lyman is survived by two daughters, Pam (Robert Baugher) Lovellette-Baugher of Eldorado, Kathy (Tanseer Butt) Butt Lovellette of Saint Peters, Mo.; three grandchildren, Cynthia K. (George) McGhee, Dennis Wade Gill and Amira Joyce Lovellette Butt; a great-grandson, Jewell Brendan McGhee; a sister, Ginger Lovellette of Baskett, Ky.; and two brothers, Lonial (Karen) Lovellette of Morris and Lindell (Alice) Lovellette of Lafayette, Ind.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Wolf Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Jody Colvin officiating.
Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home Chapel.
