Rose Shriver
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rose Shriver, 92, of Lake Zurich, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 6:50 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.
She was born Aug. 23, 1917, in Williamson County. On June 15, 1946, Rose married George Shriver and he preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2003. Rose was a homemaker, cook and member of Gaskins City Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria and husband John Baran of McHenry; daughter, Norma and husband Scott Heger of Glen Ellyn; son, Douglas Shriver of Marion; two sisters, Maxine Woeber of Alabama and Pauline Duffey of Virginia; three grandchildren, Tim Baran, Kelly Heger, and Bethany and husband Kevin Weiss; one great-grandson, Lucas Weiss; several nieces and nephews, Charlene Manley, Barbie Smith, Jim Woeber, Pam Farmer, Bruce and Danny Droit and Marsha Wright; two sisters-in-law, Mary Springs and Vel Droit; and a brother-in-law, Ozzie Shriver.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lettie Springs; and her husband, George Shriver.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Matthew Trexel officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Condolences may be left online at the Internet site www.reedfuneralchapel.com.
