Eva Bryan
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Florence Eva (Baugher) Bryan was born near Cave-In-Rock on July 6, 1916. She was the fifth child born to John Thomas and Florence Pitts Baugher. She lived most of her life in Hardin County. Eva passed away peacefully at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado on Feb. 15, 2010. At the time of her death, she was 93 years, 7 months and 9 days of age.
Eva was married to James Herbert Mason and to this union one son, Jerry Dean, was born. She married Russell Bryan on Nov. 20, 1947, and they had three children.
She is survived by one son, John (Charlotte) Bryan of Springfield; and one daughter, Paula (John) Wilson of Eldorado. She is also survived by five grandchildren, James (Man) Bryan of Springfield, Jeremy (Tina) Bryan of Chatham, Angie (John) Attebury of Eldorado, Joshua Thackston of Murray, Ky. and Karen Wilson of Eldorado. There are six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; her parents; one son, Jerry Dean Mason; one daughter, Karen Sue Bryan; three brothers; and two sisters.
Eva worked for Kibler Insurance Agency, Rosiclare Hospital and Hardin County General Hospital. She was saved and baptized into the First Baptist Church of Rosiclare, where she served her Lord and Savior faithfully for many years. In December 1992, she moved to Eldorado to be near her daughter. She joined the First Baptist Church of Eldorado where she continued to be a faithful servant.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Cox Funeral Home, Rosiclare. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Cox Funeral Home.
