Darlene 'Beanpole' Johnson Kieffe

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Darlene "Beanpole" Johnson Kieffe, 71, peacefully passed away in El Paso, Texas on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, after a long and courageous battle.

She was born in her family home in Eldorado on Aug. 13, 1938. She graduated from Eldorado High School in 1955.

She was preceded in death by two sons, her sister and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Roxy D. Kieffe; daughter; son; several grandchildren; sister, Willadean Powell; and two brothers, Larry Johnson and Jay Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Liver Foundation (www.liverfoundation.org) on the memorial link. A memorial service will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza, El Paso, Texas 79936 (915) 856-1400 at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, followed by a procession and graveside tribute at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
