Marjorie Cummings

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marjorie Cummings, 93, a resident of Carrier Mills Nursing Home, died 12:35 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at her residence.

Per Ms. Cummings' request, she was cremated and there will be no services or visitation. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at a later date. Felty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Oct. 21, 1916, in Dubois County, Ind. to the late Peter and Mary (Esela) Mercker. She married Thomas Cummings, who preceded her in death.

She was a retired executive secretary.

She is survived by two brothers, Raymond (Margaret) Mercker of Ozark and Jerome Mercker of Tuscon, Ariz.
