Ellen 'Nadine' Ledbetter

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ellen "Nadine" Ledbetter, 80, Greenup, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 30, 2010, with family by her side.

She was born to the late Roy and Fultie Thurmond on June 17, 1930, and grew up in Herod. She attended Harrisburg Township High School and graduated with the class of 1946.

Nadine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Randall Ledbetter; two daughters, Madelyn (Randy) Black of Greenup and Marilyn Greeson of Greenup; four grandchildren, Whitney Black, Denice (Dave) Richmond, Kyle Greeson and Felicia Kuhn; and three great-grandchildren, Kobyn Black, Jaylin Housel and Brayden Richmond.

Nadine is survived by two sisters, Marchetta Lambert and Pauline Crabb of Harrisburg; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dennis Gene; a stepfather, Alva Wade of Greenup; a sister, Vivian "Peggy" De Moss; and two brothers, Edward Thurmond and Eugene Thurmond.

Funeral arrangements are for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, with visitation one hour before at Bishops Funeral Home, Greenup. Burial will be at Jack Oak Cemetery.
