</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margaret Elaine Riggs Thornberry, 96, rural Cave in Rock, died 3:03 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at Saline Care Center, Harrisburg.

Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-In-Rock with the Rev. Jeff Bullock officiating. Burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation was 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at the funeral home with an Eastern Star service. Arrangements were in the charge of Hardin County Funeral Services.

She was the widow of Nick Riggs. She is survived by a son, three daughters, a sister, 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
